I have a dog but missing companionship of a cat.

20 Dec 2024

Have any pet owners ever fantasized about living a life with one cat, one dog, and one person, living happily ever after?

But here, all the pet owners who harbor this fantasy, if you have a dog, never get a cat. If you keep both a cat and a dog, two situations will arise.

One is that the dog will lead the cat astray, and the other is that the cat will lead the dog astray.

Today, I'll share some cases where cats have led dogs astray!

There was a pet owner who kept both a dog and a cat, and the two little guys grew up together.

As the cat grew older, the owner bought more toys for both pets.

One day, the owner bought a large cat tree for the cat, which the cat loved and often slept on the cat tree.

Then the dog, influenced by the cat, also started sleeping on the cat tree.

The cat looked at the dog sleeping on it with a helpless expression. After all, they are friends who grew up together, so just bear with it!

The owner was also helpless, but fortunately, the cat tree was of good quality; otherwise, it would have collapsed by now.

Smaller dogs are okay; climbing onto the cat tree isn't a worry, and it feels quite comfortable.

But for slightly larger dogs, there's nothing much to do.

They lie on the upper level, stand on the lower level, and if the cat tree is sturdy, they won't fall off.

Dog: "You just don't get it. This way, the view from the window is much higher."

Sitting here is just perfect, but don't move around randomly.

The dog resting on the cat tree looks quite comfortable.

But this Labrador, are you sure your stomach doesn't feel uncomfortable?

The Corgi with short legs finds the cat tree just the right size and looks quite happy.

Little Samo, it's still the right size now, but when he grows up, his head might get stuck.

Abroad, a netizen keeps a bulldog and two cats at home.

After spending a long time with the dog and the two cats, the dog always feels like a cat, jumping around the house every day.

When idle, it follows the cats to jump onto the kitchen counter.

Taking on a higher challenge, it jumps directly onto the refrigerator, leaving the owner stunned.

The cabinet is too high, so it doesn't jump up.

The dog above can't jump onto the cabinet, but this dog managed to do so.

Owner with a head full of question marks: "How did this guy jump up there?"

It's necessary to secure the windows when keeping cats. Dogs living with cats also need secured windows.

Otherwise, it would be like this, sending a group of people to rescue the dog.

This Husky is still normal, just likes sitting on the eaves to enjoy the scenery.

With such jumping ability and balance, I wouldn't believe it unless it's learned from the cats.

Owner: "Is that the place you went to? Hurry back to me!"

Image 77: a woman pointing to a teddy bear on the stairs

The dog and cat have a great relationship; even their sitting postures are alike.

Image 78: two pictures of a dog and a cat

The owner bought a small cat bed online to keep the cat warm while sleeping.

The big, fat dog at home doesn't know whether it's imitating the cat or feeling jealous; it lies on the cat bed every day.

Dog: "Don't you think this bed is a bit small?"

Image 80: a black dog laying on top of a plaid dog bed

No matter where the cat goes, the dog wants to stay with the cat.

When the cat bed is placed on the table, the dog will also jump onto the table, wanting to stay with the cat.

Haha, after seeing these cases, do you still want to keep both a cat and a dog?

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
